VEEP Bawumia inaugurates Liquid Bulk Terminal and Bulk Jetty at Takoradi port

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu  Bawumia has inaugurated the Liquid Bulk Terminal and a Bulk Jetty at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority in Takoradi in the Western Region.

President Akufo-Addo cut the sod for the commencement of the project on June 10, 2018.

The three-phase project being undertaken by Ibistek Ghana with funding from the Ghana Infrastructure and Investment Fund cost three hundred and 3 million dollars.

The project will make Ghana the leading cargo destination in the West African sub-region.
