Ferdinand | PoliticsGhana | February 10 | Government Introduces New Online Payslip System for Public Sector Staff
Public sector workers can now access their payslips through the newly launched GoG e-Pay Services portal. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to activate your account and retrieve your payslip.
The Government of Ghana has activated a new online payslip platform aimed at improving access, security, and efficiency in payroll management for public sector workers.
The portal, hosted at gogepayservices.com, allows staff to securely log in and download their payslips after completing a simple account activation process.
How to Access the New Payslip Portal
Public sector employees are required to activate their accounts before accessing the system. The process involves identity verification using official staff credentials.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Visit: https://gogepayservices.com
- Click on “Forgot Password.”
- Enter your Staff ID, Ghana Card number, and email address, then create a new password.
- Confirm your mobile number to receive a One-Time Password (OTP).
- Log in again using your Staff ID and newly created password to access your payslip.
OTP Delays Expected
Authorities have cautioned users that due to heavy traffic on the portal, OTP messages may delay or fail to arrive during peak hours. Staff experiencing delays are advised to wait and attempt the process later when traffic reduces.
Digital Payroll Reforms
The introduction of the new system forms part of ongoing public sector payroll reforms intended to enhance transparency and streamline salary administration. Digital payroll platforms are increasingly being adopted to improve efficiency, reduce paperwork, and strengthen data security.
Workers are encouraged to update their contact details to ensure smooth verification and uninterrupted access to their salary records.
