The Ashanti Regional Chairman of GCPP, Kofi Owusu Omar, has rubbished a comments made by John Mahama that he would not accept a fraudulent results in this year’s elections.

According to him, the “2020 election” is a done deal for Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP and the last thing John Mahama can do is to go to court.

Speaking on Wontumi Radio and TV on Thursday, he noted that polling agents would be at the various polling centers to witness the voting process. So if you lose through cheating you have yourself to blame.

“The NDC has tested the grounds since January and have seen that they have lost the election in advance so they have started causing fear and panic.” He said

Chairman Omar said further that, all the emerging issues are pointer that President Akufo-Addo is genuine and all the corruption allegations leveled against him have proved futile.

According to Chairman Omar the importation of a fleet of busses to be distributed to the Senior High Schools may have influenced John Mahama’s recent derogative remark but that cannot influence the choice of about 80% to 90% Muslims who have reserved their votes for Nana Addo and can never have a change of mind.

Chairman Omar, again repeated the calls that, Dr. Bawumia should lobby for a law that will debar married Muslim men from severing their relationship with their partners anyhow.
