The Convention People’s Party has in its quest to recapture power in the Adentan Constituency launched an e-payment platform to enable it to mobilise resources and funds to support the party’s activities towards the 2020 general elections.

The platform will provide an opportunity to every registered member in the Constituency to contribute any amount towards the party’s agenda.

Members will be required to dial *800*123# to get registered onto the platform

Launching the platform in Adentan on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, the Constituency Chairman of the Party, Mr. Abdul Malik Jaleel said the move, which is in collaboration with Wigal solution, an IT mobile content company, has dues and donation payment system linked to CPP’s NIB bank account.

He touted that the system is the first of its kind by a political party at the constituency level in Ghana and is part of internal strategies to be rolled out by the leadership of the Party to win the constituency seat in the December 7 elections.

He entreated residents and youth of Adentan to take advantage of this initiative and register, as CPP is prepared to end the battle between the NPP and NDC in parliamentary elections over a political decade.
