Rufftown Records Diva, Wendy Shay drops a new single quoting John 8:7. This quote happens to be the title of the song. She features the legendary Ebony who passed on three (3) years ago. Dropping the song, she made this statement:
“Happy Birthday, Queen Ebony. You inspired me to join Rufftown records. It’s a great honour to be on this great song with you. Yours, Wendy Shay“.
It is believed that she dropped this single featuring Ebony with the aim of keeping her legacy alive. Few also thinks that it is Rufftown’s plan to still make more money from Ebony. But what no one expected is how the title of this song was going to make an impact from a religious perspective.
It is amazing how many decided to refer to their Bible to really know what exactly can be found in the book of john 8:7. Many asked themselves why Wendy Shay decided to use John 8:7 as the title of the song. I know you are asking the same thing. Well, I quote from the New International Version (NIV)….
“When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Now when you listen to the song and you read what’s written in the scriptures, you will realise that Wendy Shay is quizzing the general public that if we are without sin, then we can judge her. But if we are not, then we should leave her alone.
I know many will have a different perspective about this, but no doubt about it, the first day you saw the title of this song, you went for your Bible to know what is there.
