Deputy Information Minister, Pius Enam Hadzide was on Newsfile to defend President Akufo-Addo’s claim about the infrastructure record of the John Mahama government captured in the green book.
President Akufo-Addo recently deplayed the much-hyped projects undertaken by the previous government, stating that it existed only in the Green Book. “so-called unprecedented projects only exist in their Green Book”. Akufo-Addo said.
However in what has made people described as a ‘doom day’ for the Deputy information, was the unsuccessful attempt by Pius Hadzide to defend President Akufo-Addo’s comments- projects of John Mahama only exist in their Green Book- as host of Newsfile, Samson Lardy continuously shot his claim down with facts.
After a number of unsuccessful attempts by the host to have the Deputy Minister determine a single project in the Green book that does not exist, Pius after that looked for a haven in an intended call from an Ada resident who declares that the construction of the Ada Shoreline defence wall as mentioned in web page 60 of Green bool was false.
A check by the host and also Pius Enam Hadzide himself disclosed that there was no reference of the claimed project in page 60.
The Minister likewise admitted though some of the projects do exist, the NDC can not assert credit report for themselves.
Nonetheless even before the segment ended, the deputy information Minister was trending on social media as netizens made several mockery with trolls and condemnations about his performance on the show
