Ferdinand | PoliticsGhana | April 2 | Director of Public Affairs Effia Tenge Resigns from Ghana Police Service
After serving for 18 years in various positions at the Ghana Police Service, Director of Public Affairs of the Volta Regional Command, Superintendent Effia Tenge has resigned from her position.
According to a report by Starrfm, Tenge expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her during her time in the police service.
Tenge is well-known for her work ethic and exceptional performance as the Accra Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Police Service before moving on to hold the position of Public Relations Officer in the Volta Region. She is highly regarded by many in the police service and the public.
She has an impressive educational background, holding a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the Methodist University College in Accra, and a Diploma in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
Additionally, Tenge holds an M.A. in Conflict, Peace, and Security from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center (KAIPTC), Accra.
Before her appointment as the Director of Public Affairs of the Volta Regional Command, Tenge was in charge of the Media Monitoring Desk at the National Police Headquarters, where she oversaw and analyzed media content on police reportage.
Tenge’s resignation has led to speculations about her future plans, and she is wished well in her future endeavors by her colleagues in the police service and the public.

Good morning all, hope we are all fine. Please this is to inform you that I have formally exited the Ghana Police Service after 18 years of active service. Permit me to use this medium to thank you all, l mean every one of you, for your immeasurable support during my appointment as Public Affairs Officer of this noble profession. We will definitely meet again hopefully in a different working environment. Once again thank you very much.
