The Registration for the new voters ID card has been halted at some party of the klottey Korle Constituency due to allegations that the officials of the Electoral commission registered some 15 persons before the actual commencement of the registration exercise.
This information was made know by Mr. Amorse Blessing Amos, the Deputy Youth Organizer of the the National Democratic Congress Party of the Greater Accra Region.
This news comes after the Electoral Commission has started it’s exercise of compiling a new voters register in preparation towards the 2020 elections.
Comarde Amorse Blessing Amos made this known in a Facebook post on his official page where he said
“A supposed new machine had 15 already registered people before it was brought to the registration center. Thus happened awhile ago at Globe Cinema registration center in the Klottey Korle Constituency …… We’ve stopped the registration. We won’t take this nonsense”.
